The purpose of this study is to assess how well the Early Mathematics learning module raises preschoolers' academic performance. Class A, the treatment group, and class B, the control group, are included in this study's experimental design, which employs a quantitative methodology. According to the study's findings, students who utilise the module perform noticeably better academically than those who lack. As a result, there is a chance to use this module when instructing early mathematics.
2025-12-02T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Borneo International Journal of Education (BIJE) https://jurcon.ums.edu.my/ojums/index.php/bije/article/view/7738 Penggunaan Modul Pembelajaran dalam Memperkukuhkan Asas Matematik pada Peringkat Awal Kanak-Kanak 2026-06-03T15:41:03+08:00 Evania Ziunis Primus evania_ziunis_bp20@iluv.ums.edu.my
This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of the Smart Learning Module in strengthening the foundation of Mathematics at the early childhood level. The module was specially designed for children to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts through engaging approaches. Theresearcher employed a quasi- experimental method by conducting pre-test and post- test among preschool children as respondents. Two classes were selected as respondents for this study. Data analysis from the pre-test, intervention, and post-testconducted by the researcher will be processed using independent t-test. Additionally, achievement scales were applied in this study to examine the comparison of student’sachievement before and after the intervention conducted on the treatment group.
2025-12-02T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Borneo International Journal of Education (BIJE) https://jurcon.ums.edu.my/ojums/index.php/bije/article/view/7742 KEBERKESANAN PERMAINAN ‘TING.. Sidi Anilahsidi@gmail.com
This study aims to test the effectiveness of the game ‘Ting.. Ting.. Ting.. Tembikai’ on the achievement of children’s number operations. The construction of games is based on the concept of a modified snake and ladder game board to meet the research questions. The purpose of study is also to apply the play-based learning approach to attract children’s interest in Early Mathematics. The research method is quasi-experimental in quantative form by conducting Pre-Test and Post-Test for two groups, namely treatment and control which is each group has 25 repondents. The researchers choose a total of 50 respondents from 2 different preschool to be used as a sample. Further, the researchers used inferential analysis such as paired T-Test and independent T-test to analyze the research hypothesis. From the results obtained, the game 'Ting.. Ting.. Ting.. Tembikai' created by researchers can improve the achievement of preschool children's number operations.
2025-12-02T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Borneo International Journal of Education (BIJE) https://jurcon.ums.edu.my/ojums/index.php/bije/article/view/7743 BELAJAR OPERASI NOMBOR MELALUI PERMAINAN CONGKAK KREATIF BAGI KANAK-KANAK PRASEKOLAH 2026-06-03T15:51:24+08:00 Felesti Avitus felestiavitus5@gmail.com
This article describes the effectiveness of a creative bragging game based on children's achievement for a treatment group and a control group of 6-year-old preschoolers. A total of 50 6-year-old children were selected from 2 classes, difference in the mean score of the pre-test and post-test for the treatment group and there is no difference in the mean score of the pre-test and post-test for the control group and there is no difference in the mean score between the pre-test and the post-test for children. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively using IBM SPSS software. The findings of the descriptive analysis for the treatment group found the mean score of the pre-recorded test (M=4.84, SP=1.49) and the post-recorded test (M=7.40, SP=1.15). While the descriptive analysis data for the control group found that the mean score of the pre-test (M=4.60, SP=1.19) and the post-test was recorded (M=4.74, SP=1.36). The analysis found that there was a difference in the mean score for the group of children who were given the intervention of creative play and conventional learning. The implications of the study help teachers to identify student achievement in the math subject of preschool number operations. Teachers can record the level of performance shown by students using the record of achievement that has been built by the researcher. Research proposals to further increase the study and innovation of games that are done using traditional games such as creative congkak that are built in teaching and learning of children. It is hoped that the research carried out can provide explanations and knowledge about the effectiveness of creative conceit games in learning preschool number operations. Cooperation between teachers and parents can provide benefits and positive effects in knowledge and achievement in number operations.
2025-12-02T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Borneo International Journal of Education (BIJE)
