Pemuliharaan Pengetahuan Tradisional: Keterancaman Lagu Tradisional Dalam Komuniti Orang Asli Kensiu

Pengetahuan tradisional merupakan asas penting dalam komuniti Orang Asli yang diwarisi secara turun-temurun. Ia berfungsi sebagai medium interaksi dengan persekitaran serta hubungan dengan nenek moyang dalam mempraktikkan kehidupan seharian. Pengetahuan ini meliputi bahasa, lagu, cerita tradisional, upacara dan ritual yang mencerminkan sesebuah komuniti. Namun, arus pembangunan dan pemodenan telah menimbulkan perubahan yang memberi kesan terhadap kesinambungan pengetahuan tradisional. Kajian ini meneliti pemuliharaan lagu tradisional Orang Asli Kensiu di Baling, Kedah yang semakin diancam kepupusan. Kehilangan lagu tradisional bukan sahaja menjejaskan warisan budaya, malah memberi implikasi terhadap jati diri komuniti. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan temu bual separa berstruktur bersama 15 orang peserta lelaki dan perempuan yang berusia 18 hingga 69 tahun. Reka bentuk fenomenologi diaplikasikan bagi memahami fenomena keterancaman kehilangan lagu tradisi dalam komuniti Kensiu serta perubahan yang berlaku terhadap kesinambungan warisan tersebut. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan pengetahuan terhadap lagu tradisional mereka semakin berkurangan. Antara faktor yang menyumbang kepada ancaman kepupusan ialah pengaruh teknologi moden, perkahwinan campur dan penyusutan peranan tukang dalam menyampaikan lagu tradisional. Bagi menangani isu ini, langkah pemuliharaan seperti pendokumentasian, peningkatan kesedaran dalam kalangan komuniti Kensiu serta memperluas hebahan melalui platform media sosial adalah penting. Usaha-usaha tersebut diharap dapat memastikan kelangsungan pengetahuan tradisional, khususnya lagu tradisi, agar terus diwarisi oleh generasi muda dan dikekalkan sebagai sebahagian daripada identiti budaya komuniti Kensiu.
