About the Journal

Borneo Science is a biannual, peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes original research and review articles across all disciplines of science and technology. Established in 1995, the journal functions as an interdisciplinary platform for the dissemination of rigorously conducted scientific research of regional and global relevance.

The journal prioritizes, but is not limited to, the following subject areas: Earth and Planetary Sciences; Chemical, Physical and Materials Sciences; Mathematical Sciences; Agriculture and Biological Sciences; and Environmental Sciences.

Borneo Science is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing. The journal provides an international forum for researchers to communicate valid and original findings, encouraging critical inquiry and scholarly debate that contribute meaningfully to scientific advancement.

Borneo Science is a peer-reviewed international journal, open access, published biannually by the Faculty of Science and Technology(FST) (formerly known as School of Science and Technology, SST), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) since December 1995. The Journal covers original research and review papers in the field of Earth Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Applied Sciences and Technology, Material Sciences, Biological Sciences and Environmental Sciences.
