Nest predation is one factor in ecology that exerts strong selection pressure on other species. Through camera trapping, this study presents an observation of nest predation by Spotted Wood Kingfisher Actenoides lindsayi on a Yellow breasted fruit dove’s Ramphiculus occipitalis nestling documented at Balinsasayao Twin Lakes Natural Park, Negros Island, Philippines.
