    Introducing ICoBS 2019!

    The 1st International Conference of Business Studies [ICoBS] 2019 is organized by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy, Universiti Malaysia Sabah; and will be held on 24-25 July 2019 in Kota Kinabalu Sabah.

    It serves as a convergence platform between academician and industry players to engage in discussions related to issues and challenges facing businesses today and in the foreseeable future.

    Modern developments that have taken place in telecommunications and transportation have brought about an increased interaction between various sectors and institutions, as well as between business players and governments. The diversity of players and speed of change characterizes the pace and trends in business for the generations of today and tomorrow. In order to face these challenges, innovativeness and collaborative engagements between academic and industry players can play a big role.

    Hence, it is our hope that through this conference, we will be able to draw on empirical and professional insights from business leaders, researchers, and practitioners to discuss, exchange ideas, and share their views and concerns on current issues and trends that will shape our business environment of the future.

    The Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy, Universiti Malaysia Sabah is pleased to announce that the second International Conference on Economics (ICE 2019) will be held on 18-19th September 2019 at the Pacific Sutera Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The conference theme is “Sustaining Global Development Through Policy, Innovation and Integration”. Academicians, practitioners, researchers, students and administrators from the private and public sectors are invited to participate and submit papers to be considered for presentation.

Namun masih juga terdapat sebahagian besar dari mereka yang masih kurang mahir dengan teknik ini oleh kerana kurangnya pendedahan dan peluang untuk melakukannya. This conference is a platform for dialogue for people who are interested in improving quality of life in the region and this years conference will focus on improving human rights. Sabah has been chosen to host the International Society for Quality of Life Studies Conference in 2022 and this annual conference will help to create a community of scholars, individuals and groups who are working on improving quality of life in region.

    Many of the students and staffs don’t consider their living environment and healthy lifestyle as part of their overall health and wellness plan. All This can have a huge impact on their long-term health and study which helps to keep and improve their health and well-being.  Healthy living and healthy lifestyle is a lifelong effect. The ways to being healthy include healthy eating, physical activities, weight management, and stress management.

    This is the first convention organized by Majlis Kesihatan Universiti Awam Malaysia (MAKESUM). MAKESUM is an organization which comprises of 20 public university health centres (Pusat Kesihatan Universiti). The purpose of the convention is to streamline the activities of the health centres, which is and to look after student’s and staff’s health while they are in campus. This convention will be discussing the topics that are related to the environment and health issues among the student and staff. Invited speakers are medical expert from university health centre.

    A healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Mental health is imperative for physical health.  If the student and staff’s mind is unsullied and pure, it will greatly help in maintaining physical well-being and health.
