Abstract

Artikel ini membincangkan tentang keperluan Pendidikan dan latihan di dalam bidang kerja sosial berdasarkan piawaian global yang telah digariskan oleh Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) agar mampu memenuhi keperluan semasa dan peredaran zaman berkaitan dengan keperluan kerja sosial. Amalan dalam Pendidikan dan praktis kerja sosial ini tidak hanya dibincangkan dalam konteks Indonesia sahaja namun ia turut melibatkan Malaysia yang kini sedang bertungkus lumus meningkatkan kualiti Pendidikan dan kepakaran dalam bidang kerja sosial. Untuk mencapai matlamat ini, Pendidikan Kerja sosial berteraskan kompetensi dan latihan kerja sosial berteraskan kompetensi merupakan pilihan alternatif yang perlu dilaksanakan.

This article discusses the need for social work education and training to adapt in line with global standards of social work education and training. In the end to fulfill the needs and developments of the times. This adaptation is not only for the Indonesian context but also for Malaysia, where both countries are struggling to improve the quality of education and social work professionals. To achieve this goal, competency-based social work education and training is an alternative option that needs to be implemented.
