Aim and Scope
The Journal of Smart Farming and Food Security (JSFFS) is a free, open-access, international, peer-reviewed journal published by Universiti Malaysia Sabah Press (UMS Press). JSFFS serves as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality original research articles, review papers, and short communications. Published biannually, the journal welcomes scholarly contributions across all areas of agricultural research. The journal assesses submissions based on the scientific merit and soundness of the work, not on subjective judgments of novelty or impact.
The journal offers a platform for publishing and sharing new findings from high-impact research in the agricultural sciences. Among the topics covered by the journal (not limited to topics) are as follows:

Currently, the JSFFS publishes three categories of articles, namely (i) Research Article, (ii) Short Communication, and (iii) Review Article. Manuscript length should be appropriate to the type of article submitted. Research Articles typically contain 3,000–7,000 words (excluding references) and 8–12 pages. Short Communications typically contain 2,000–3,000 words and 4–7 pages. Review Articles should contain 5,000–10,000 words and 10–20 pages.
