In India, the dairy industry represents an element of agriculture, particularly dairy cooperatives contributing a major role in agricultural growth. This study analyzes key factors in the dairy manufacturing process and proposes a decision framework that addresses its implications Data was obtained from dairy producers, including farmers, executives, and key informants from processing units, in order to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This includes establishing the dairy industry's objectives and crucial factors (CFs), both internally and externally. SWOT exploration does not provide a basis for analyzing CF priorities. Therefore, the analytic hierarchy technique is used to determine these priorities. The CFs have also been ranked according to their respective relevance. The outcomes of this study show that the SWOT-based methodology provides critical sensitivity when examining supply chain strategies for the dairy sector.
