Abstrak Kajian ini meneliti tahap literasi media dan perubahan tingkah laku kesihatan dalam kalangan masyarakat dari 2010 hingga 2020. Masalah kajian berfokus kepada pengaruh literasi media terhadap keputusan kesihatan. Objektifnya adalah untuk meninjau tahap literasi media yang mempengaruhi perubahan tingkah laku kesihatan individu. Kajian ini juga mengkaji kesesuaian pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengubah persepsi masyarakat terhadap kepentingan literasi media. Metodologi penyelidikan melibatkan tinjauan literatur secara sistematik terhadap kajian terdahulu menerusi pangkalan data Scopus yang ditulis dalam Bahasa Melayu dan Bahasa Inggeris, yang menawarkan capaian terbuka sahaja. Kata kunci yang digunakan untuk proses pencarian artikel yang menepati kriteria penelitian adalah ‘media’,‘literacy’, ‘communication’, ‘behaviour’ dan ‘health’. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 402 artikel jurnal, dengan hanya 34 artikel sahaja yang memenuhi kriteria. Dapatan menunjukkan literasi media yang baik mempunyai kemungkinan untuk meningkatkan kesedaran dan membawa kepada perubahan tingkah tingkah laku kesihatan. Kesimpulan menyarankan peningkatan literasi media melalui pendidikan adalah diperlukan agar masyarakat lebih berkebolehan untuk memahami dan menilai informasi yang diterima dengan lebih berkualiti.
Abstract This study examines the level of media literacy and changes in health behavior among the community from 2010 to 2020. The research problem focuses on the influence of media literacy on health decisions. The objective is to review the level of media literacy that affects changes in individual health behavior. This study also examines the suitability of approaches used to change public perception of the importance of media literacy. The research methodology involves a systematic literature review of previous studies through the Scopus database, written in Malay and English, offering open access only. The keywords used for the article search process that meet the research criteria are 'media', 'literacy', 'communication', 'behavior', and 'health'. The study sample consists of 402 journal articles, with only 34 articles meeting the criteria. The findings show that good media literacy has the potential to increase awareness and lead to changes in health behavior. The conclusion suggests that increasing media literacy through education is necessary for the community to better understand and evaluate the information received with higher quality.
