Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points,...
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Nota kaki/ Bibliografi.

Nota kaki merangkumi kutipan rujukan dan juga boleh digunakan untuk memberi maklumat tambahan termasuk rujukan yang dinyatakan dalam senarai bibliografi. Tanpa nota akhir.

Kutip rujukan dalam nota kaki dengan Nama Penuh Penulis, Tajuk, Nama Jurnal, Nombor Jilid (diboldkan), Tahun Penerbitan, Halaman (untuk jurnal); Nama Penuh Penulis, Judul, Tempat Penerbitan dan Nama Penerbit, Tahun Penerbitan, Halaman (untuk buku). Nama jurnal dan judul buku harus ditulis dengan huruf condong.

Contoh;

Kutipan pertama untuk jurnal (sepenuhnya) - Tom Harrisson, The Chinese in Borneo 1942-1946, International Affairs (Royal Institute of International Affairs), Vol. 15 (3), 1950, hlm. 135

Kutipan kedua dan seterusnya (sependeknya) - Tom Harrisson, The Chinese in Borneo, hlm. 135. Atau, Tom Harrisson, op.cit., hlm. 135.

Kutipan pertama untuk buku (sepenuhnya) - Peter Bellwood, Prehistory of the Indo-Malaysian Archipelago, Revised Edition, Canberra: ANU E Press, 2007, hlm. 18.

Kutipan kedua dan seterusnya (sependeknya) - Peter Bellwood, Prehistory of the Indo-Malaysian, hlm. 18. Atau, Peter Bellwood, op.cit., hlm. 18.

Sebaiknya yang berikut tidak digunakan: ad loc., idem, inter alia, loc. cit., dan passim.

Daftar rujukan hanya akan mencakupi karya yang dikutip dalam teks. Daftar harus dalam susunan abjad dengan nama keluarga penulis atau penulis pertama atau penulis pertama setiap karya. Nama jurnal dan judul buku harus ditulis dengan huruf condong.

Susun daftar rujukan dengan Nama Keluarga Penulis, Tahun Penerbitan, Tajuk, Nama Jurnal, Nombor Jilid (diboldkan), Halaman (untuk jurnal); Nama Keluarga Penulis, Tahun Penerbitan, Judul, Tempat Penerbitan dan Nama Penerbit (untuk buku).

Footnotes/ bibliographic

The footnotes include the citation of reference and can also be used to give additional information that may include a reference described in the bibliographic list.
Without endnotes.

Cite references in the footnotes by Author Full Name, Topic, Journal’s name, Volume Number (bold), Year of Publication, Page (for journal); Author Full Name, Title, Place of Publication and Name of Publisher, Year of Publication, Page (for book). Journal names and book titles should be italicized.

Example;
First citation for journal (in full) - Tom Harrisson, The Chinese in Borneo 1942-1946, International Affairs (Royal Institute of International Affairs), 15 (3), (1950), pp. 135.

Second citation and so forth (in short) - Tom Harrisson, The Chinese in Borneo, pp. 135.

The following should not be used: ad loc., idem, inter alia, loc. cit., and passim.

The list of references will only include works that are cited in the text. The list must be alphabetized by the surname of the author or the first author of each work. Journal names and book titles should be italicized.
