  • Secure the confidentiality of manuscripts and not discuss the content of the manuscripts without permission.
  • Abide by the timeframe allocated for the review process, and requests for extension to review manuscripts are at the discretion of the Chief Editor.

ROLES OF AUTHORS

  • Submit only new and original work.
  • Must not replicate their work previously published in other journals.
  • Must not submit any manuscripts that are being reviewed or considered by the journal to other journals concurrently.
  • Are only permitted to publish their manuscripts elsewhere after receiving a formal rejection from the journal or an official acceptance by the journal of their request to withdraw their work.
  • Manuscripts submitted should make significant contributions and authors are to be held responsible for any inadequacy in their work.
  • Obliged to notify the Chief Editor or the publisher of any inaccuracy of data in their published work so that correction or retraction of the manuscript can be done.

PLAGIARISM

  • Authors should ensure that their work submitted to the journal is original, not plagiarised, and has not been published or currently being considered for publication elsewhere.  The Editorial Office may use appropriate plagiarism detection tools to check for similarities of submitted work with existing literature. Work and/or words from other publications must be appropriately cited or quoted. Inclusion of false or knowingly inaccurate statements is unacceptable.

REPORTING

  • All results in the manuscript should be described clearly and honestly without any inappropriate data manipulation, fabrication or falsification. Authors should clearly and unambiguously state the methods employed in their work so that the findings can be repeated and confirmed by other researchers.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

  • The inclusion of a statement on conflict of interest in the manuscript is necessary if authors receive any support that might be construed to affect the results or interpretation of their work. All sources of funding for the research/project related to the manuscript should be disclosed.

AUTHORSHIP AND COLLABORATION

  • Name of authors listed in a manuscript should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the paper. Individuals who have made significant contributions to the research/project should be listed as co-authors while those involved in certain fundamental aspects of the work should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding author is responsible to ensure that all appropriate co-authors are included in the paper and there is no inappropriate co-author.  The final version of the manuscript must be approved and agreed to by all co-authors prior to submission.

MULTIPLE OR REDUNDANT

  • Authors should not submit a manuscript describing essentially the same research output or a similar manuscript to more than one journal or primary publication simultaneously as this constitutes as unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
