ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the "Implementation and Impact of the 5E Inquiry Model" in the teaching Malay language. The study was conducted in Penampang which involved only six participants. The research methodology used was qualitative, collecting data through interviews and analyzing them descriptively with three participants. The study results indicate that teachers' teaching and learning activities focus on discussions, collaborative contributions, hands-on material collection, and providing initial topic, student-centered activities, the use of tablets, IMBaKup technique, and the construction of comprehension questions have had a positive impact on students, making them feel enjoyable, not bored, easily understandable, and able to remember the learned facts easily. In summary, overall, this study can improve the teaching and learning practices of teachers, where the use of the 5E Inquiry Model makes teaching more creative.
